Statement of faith
1. This Church believes the Bible is the divinely-inspired Word of God, and the truth of God to men. Therefore, the Bible is our final authority in matters of faith and conduct. (2 Timothy 3:16-17).
2. This Church believes that God is eternal, immortal and invisible. He is the only true, wise and living God and exists as three distinct and unified persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (Genesis 1:26, 1 John 5:20, John 14:16-17, 1 Timothy 1:17)
3. This Church believes that God the Father is a loving God who desires to give good gifts to His children. He did not come to condemn the world but to save it, desiring that none should perish, but that all have everlasting life. (Matthew 7:11, John 3:16-17)
4. This Church believes that Jesus Christ, born of the Virgin Mary, is the incarnate, only-begotten Son of God. His death on the cross provided the ransom price for sinners and there is no other name whereby man can be saved. (Matthew 1:20-21, John 3:16, Acts 4:12)
5. This Church believes Jesus was crucified, buried and raised from the dead on the third day, ascended into heaven and sits at the right hand of God the Father far above all principalities and powers. (Acts 4:10, Ephesians 1: 20-21)
6. This Church believes that God gave the Holy Spirit to dwell in every believer to be a comforter, helper and source of power as on the day of Pentecost. We believe this power is available to all believers forever. (John 14:16-17, John 16:5-15, Romans 8:9-11)
7. This Church believes that Jesus Christ committed two sacred sacraments to the Church, baptism and communion. Both are available to all believers. (Matthew 28:19-20, 1 Corinthians 11:23-26)
8. This Church believes that one day every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that He is Lord to the glory of God. We believe that the faithful will reign with Him, all evil will be destroyed, and the kingdoms of this earth will become the kingdoms of our God and of His Christ. (Philippians 2:10-11, 2 Thessalonians 2:8, Revelation 11:5, Revelation 22:5)
